  Immunity...

  I don't think Congress can pass a law that would change the Constitution. They would have to pass an amendment.
  This "immunity clause" should be easily thrown out, if someone takes the effort (spelled $$).

  I've been thinking about this, and it truly puzzles me when people say the NSA has "smart people." I would think that a smart person would not stretch the law as the NSA has done, because when it snaps back, their reach will be radically pruned.
  My definition of intelligence is to be able to predict the outcome of actions and situations with accuracy. I guess my definition differs from most peoples.

  This is getting pretty bad. I wonder if Joey Biden has started prepping his Presidential acceptance speech? You know, the one he gives after Obama is impeached and needs to be pardoned.

  I wanted to like Obama. I voted for him twice as well.
  But I feel like he is a traitor to his country and himself. (See his pre-presidental comments on collecting information about Americans for clarity.)
  His only loyalty seems to lie with the current government.

  Mosquito spraying

  I just wonder if all of the city trucks that indescriminately sprayed anti-mosquito insecticide for the past 5 years or so had something to do with the bees decline. I haven't seen the trucks this year.

  So we have a sequester, fired thousands of government employees, and this is how the remaining money is being spent.
  
  I don't understand how some Republicans can be for "smaller government" and still condone these expenditures.

  GUN violence

  I'm facinated at how guns make crimes more violent. Bashing a hole in someone's skull with a hammer is bad, and stabbing and slashing another person's flesh to dripping ribbons is bad, but pointing a gun at them and pulling the trigger... much more violent.

  This is true. However, you have at least several hundred, if not several thousand employees all trained in security who are able to break any system in the world... except their own. The system that they made.

  I did some scratching around in Lotus Notes in '98, trying to figure out how to automate and/or migrate it with Exchange or even just a pop/smtp server, and I can sum it up in one word:inconcievable!
