Have some respect. Stevie Nicks is a recording icon and I give her the benefit of the doubt when she speaks about rock and what it takes to make it in the recording industry -- internet or no internet. Until you release your first hit single, I think you know about as much about it as I do -- which is nothing.
Just because the internet is liberating doesn't make it a good business model for 'making it' as a band.
It just shows that high salaries doesn't necessarily correlate to increased competency or intelligence. These guys just have no idea how to change their business and are content with sticking their heads in the sand.
Do I have permission from BestNetTech to copy their articles and put my name on them as my own? I could supplement my meager income a bit by selling them to other rival tech blogs or perhaps just create my own off BestNetTech's hard work.
I checked the website, and they aren't posting her exact website; just the policy documents detailing positions she took to get the Republican nomination. She apparently now wants to portray a more centrist viewpoint after appearing as a wacko to the Republican base.
Funny how politicians can flip on a dime like that. I don't trust any of them.
How would you like it if someone decided to create a competing nonprofit website to BestNetTech.com and did so by just copying your articles verbatim? How would you feel if this website which copied your articles resulted in a loss of revenue to you and to those that work with you? Would you sue? If so, then don't play the hypocrite with other people's revenue. When the money comes out of your pocket because someone else is ripping off your work, then it hurts.
If you stand by your argument, then please publish a blanket authorization that removes all BestNetTech articles from any copyright protections whatsoever.
The TV industry is putting their fingers in the dyke, but it's already too late. My entire extended family has already cancelled cable and satellite and relying on the internet and over the air broadcasts via an antennae.
Hulu can be THE player but they are walking the middle road and not satisfying anyone.
Hulu Plus is a sad joke until they start adding actual value -- ie. all the shows available on the desktop PLUS more good shows with some cable offerings.

Article is a bit arrogant

Print still has it's head in the sand

I agree. Your material shouldn't be copyrighted either.
I agree with BestNetTech. Let creativity free.

That seems fair, right?

Re:
You need to find a girl. That was so sad.
I've got four friends in Chicago; I'm forwarding this article
What a douche.
Don't worry. Hulu is finished. Here comes Apple.
Apple is rumoured to be going big on TV and they have $55 billion in hard cash to do it.
Hulu's days are numbered since they are acting like such wussies.
You Nailed It
