Hasn't Apple done this for years? A famous example is the Gizmodo iPhone leak in 2010.

I read that the iPhone 6 release was the first time Gizmodo was at an Apple event since then.
I'll also add that nothing prevents sites / articles from writing about Apple products even if Apple does not provide them free units or early access.
If Apple is having a private event to announce new products they should be able to invite [or not invite] whomever they want.
I thought you couldn't copyright something until it was in a fixed form? If the NFL never put the broadcast in a fixed form; how could they claim any copyright to it?
I've read a few complaints along the lines of "I can't do X now that Y is taking up my free space"
When the album automatically downloads to a device with limited storage capacity it can become a problem for some users.
It wasn't Red Thread Games that created The Longest Journey or Dreamfall, it was Funcom. Red Thread games didn't exist when the original games were created.
Ragnor Tornquist, the game designer on both the previous games is also the designer on the new game. I believe he worked out something with Funcon, the original publisher, either an outright purchase of rights or some type of license.
I do not know how much of the original team is part of the new project.

I don't think the name 'skywalker' is George Lucas's property anymore. He sold it to Disney [as is referred to in the subject line]
How do you rationalize that the average age of a gamer is 31, but 91% of parents are present when games are purchased or rented?
Doesn't that make the whole data set suspect?
"Adobe's Creative Cloud offering was down, but the impact went much further, blocking even people who had installed desktop apps"
I just want to point out that Adobe's creativce cloud is just a bunch of desktop apps sold on a subscription basis. It is poorly named
To make a random comparison, the number of people I know who own horses is probably about the same number of people I know who own pools.
I don't take that to mean that people who swim cannot identify with regular Americans.
Thanks for saying that. Past BestNetTech posts have claimed the leak was only "screenshots". Source code is a very different than screenshots.
[Not that I endorse MS Actions in this case]
You just called me a gullible loon. I thought this was a company being awesome when responding to a "Fake" complaint.
I guess not.
Since the article lists four companies that lobbied against this [and says there were others] why is Microsoft given all the 'credit/blame' in the rest of the article?
Just for the record; there have been some reports that the Apple system does not use Fingerprints instead of passwords; but in addition to them. You'll need a password after the unit is restarted and if the unit has been inactive for a certain amount of time.
I also got the impression from one article that you could set it up so the wrong fingerprint will wipe the phone; which sounds dangerous to your data.
They've done it to Dreamfall Chapters by Red Thread games too. Dreamfall Chapters was another Million+ funded Kickstarter project. I think they're using Paypal to sell tickets for putting on a conference.
I don't think teacher's go through the sort of training you think they do...
[Says the husband of a teacher]
I have seen lots of articles where female teachers are having sexual relations with students.
One of my friends on Facebook seems to post at least one a week.
I'm not sure I agree that there is no confusion between "Boy Scouts" and "Hacker Scouts". My initial thought was that they were related. "Boy Scouts" are often called just scouts.
The $50 Subscription is for the "Full" creative suite which includes a lot of software.
A single product, such as Photoshop is available at $20 a month.
That said; I agree it is expensive for casual users; but probably a no-brainer for a professional user who makes their income off said tools.
You've drawn the wrong conclusions; perhaps because Adobe poorly named their subscription service.
The version of Photoshop available in Creative Cloud is a desktop application, just like the old versions of Photoshop. Photoshop was not "put in the cloud".
Creative Cloud is primarily just a different way for Adobe to sell their desktop / creative suite products.
Re:
I thought during the Apple iPhone 6 event, Apple had their own liveblog type thing that was re-tweeting tweets (and other social media furor) around the announcement.
I believe that is the first time Apple had done something like that to my knowledge. It was like a real-time moderated aggregator of the community reaction to the announcement.
