The ability to spout 'rules for thee, but not for me' because of <insert protected class here> or 'Think of Children' does rival some of the best work the '50 Cent Army' has ever produced. If anything, Mike and the company should be able to find good work as political groups become more naked in their ambitions for the U.S. and beyond.

While the politics of this have been amusing to watch from afar, the real numbers (i.e. declining membership year after year) paint a grim picture. Figure the scouts (boy, girl, etc.) will be going the way of the dodo in a few years.
As for the lawsuits - Boy Scouts have NOTHING to say on this matter, given how they have used lawsuits in the past:

Sorry folks, when it comes to certain segments that have a perception of 'needing entitlements for basic tasks', seeing the PBA do such a thing is not surprising.

If all things are equal, it appears that customers (i.e. end users) are already voting with with feet and leaving places like Twitter and Facebook.
