  Why Don't They?

  Why don't they put the sensor facing oncoming traffic but have the camera take the photo from behind? That way they'll have the plate and the light in view. I guess they would still need the driver's face so why not two cameras? In court it should be 'beyond a reasonable doubt' so wouldn't an extra POV be worth it?
  Oh, BTW, if you go through downtown Portland maintaining a speed between 11 & 15mph you'll hit all green lights. Lots of people do it.

  That's actually a great idea. I don't know if I would pay for a Tech Dirt app but I would totally download a free, ad supported version and that would take care of this mobile site issue.

  There's an app for that...

  The default browser for Android is a stripped down version of Chrome which is based off webkit. That's why some sites detect it as Safari or Apple webkit. If you save the link that Mike provided above as a bookmark then it should take you to the lite page everytime. Another option is the Opera mobile browser which is free for all devices. It redirects my Nexus to the Lite version everytime but you can't comment on the Lite version but it renders wicked quick and is easier to read. Hope this helps! :-)

  Thank you so much for the link. Laws and amendments have been struck down by the courts before as being unconstitutional both at the State and Federal level. I can only hope and pray that the same occurs with this one.

  I'm still mad at his son for threatening to sue Gary Gygax and TSR for using the word "Hobbit" in the original D&D games. It seemed as soon has JR died and his son inherited the rights to the books, he jumped on TSR so when they released AD&D, "Hobbit" was changed to "Halfling." All of 'em need to get a job and created their own fortunes instead of suing for a living.

  Technically, you did get "first post" since your post had actually content. Just the word's "First Post" applied to the first post of an artical implies that a "bot" or non-human being could have posted said "first post" there by nullifying that poster's bid at "first post."
  Anyway, I'm still shell-shocked that anyone would have the time or the reason to sue Google over such a retarded subject. Would you like a Wine-a-kein with your Wah-Burger and Cries?? Would you like me to call Nine-wah-wah? Grow up! Your site isn't number one? Then offer some content/product that people want to search for and maybe it will show up on the metacrawlers.

  PDA use...

  I got Skype to work on my PDA cell phone. Since I have an unlimited data plan I have unlimited outgoing calls with my mobile service using Skype. If the call quality improves, I could swich to a data-plan with my mobile provider, pay for Skype and have unlimited minutes for about $43.23/ month before tax....but I'm sure E-Bay's not going to advertise that funtionality.
  I still can't believe the amount of info that people post on myspace...if you read the T&C's, anything you post there on your site gives News Corp. the right to use it for any reason they see fit.

  Alot of States in the U.S. already tax sms. It's no problem for them to put a penny or two on the .10 per message fee. But I have noticed that if you're paying extra for a "messaging package" of some kind, the included messages don't get taxed. I don't know if this is in all States but it is in California. But of course, then you're taxed on the monthly price of that messaging package.

  Awww! I can't believe you beat me to that reference! Thank you for using their original name, "Green Jello" and not the Post-Lawsuit one "Green Jelly." Apparently Kraft has a patent on "Jello." But, porn doesn't make you a serial killer and American's would do something like this religious or not. There was that lawsuit recently to block the 3G spectrum auction here in the States based on "possible health effects" of 3G spectrum even though it's used in Japan and last I checked, they're alot healtier as whole than us. Snap...Crackle...POP!!
