What it really proves is that there are a great number of people (especially on the internet) ready at the drop of a hat to express outrage over any change whatever, no matter how insignificant. This is really the least intrusive means of introducing ads to a service I have ever seen, and you can turn it off with one click?! Oh, those fucking money-grubbing bastards!
