Still pushing the idea that it was all Google, are we?
Well, not to you, but obviously it is to someone if they are asking the question.
Not really, but standing up for the Constitution and one's own morals is to be admired. Perhaps not always agreed with, but still admired. But suggesting that someone breaking the law in order to bring justice for those with no power should be raped and pillaged (far afield, I know) is more than a little disgusting.
Wait, isn't Wyden the Chairman of the House committee responsible for International Trade, Customs, and Global Competitiveness? Wouldn't that give him some standing right there, since this is a 'trade agreement'?
And who are you working for? What's your interests, and who is backing you? Come on, man up! Show a little backbone and transparency!
Well, from what I'm reading this letter is only up asking for signatories at present, so your usual boohoo'ing about it is premature.
I don't bother. THere's only one signed artist that I'm at all interested in, and I still neither download nor buy his music. Until he breaks from the 'recording industry,' I'll just have to hear his stuff randomly on Pandora. If you think we're all so enamored with downloading, then prove it. Tell me the last thing I downloaded. Hint: It wasn't music.
Wally v. Darryl... You know, Wally, as often as I don't agree with you at least you make coherent and cogent arguments that make someone think about their position!
And...? Curious what the point of this really was. I mean, we're talking about corporate action, not state, which means they are free to make those sorts of determinations and censor whatever they like on their own pages. Thus my confusion as the the thrust of your post.
Gifs. Lots and lots and LOTS of animated gifs...
Yes, my theater has this, and I love it. When I can use it, since it's in the top row seats where I can't get my wheelchair, but hey, we all make due in some way.
What it is, there are small screens that flip up at the seats and catch a secondary projection from behind that adds in the subtitling. Can't recall for the life of me what they're calling it.
Now we just have to wait for the trolls to come in and try to defend all of this in their usual snotty way.
Come on, kids. We're waiting. Surely you know more about this than we do, and can shed some light on the subject! Or do we ALL KNOW that this guy was doing something illegal, still?

You've been trolled. :)
I have just three words for you, Mr Charles Carreon:
Please grow up.

Taking the bus has long been accepted as a 'green' alternative to driving yourself, so this isn't too farfetched. Many bus systems are turning to bio-fuels and other, less impacting, fuel options.
Preferably not someone of the rodent persuasion.
OH MY GOD! You're falling in with that 100%/0% bullshit, too, aren't you, bobbygirl? Sweet jumped up (insert prophet of choice), but I'm sick of that tired 'argument.' Come up with something that actually makes sense.
Re: Re: Public Knowledge is a lobbyist...
Not really, he won't. bob raises a lot of seemingly coherent points, but that doesn't excuse the idiocy of most of them.
