I don't see how Twitter is useful honestly. It's an echo chamber and who has the time to follow it? I've also really scaled back on FB once I found myself doom scrolling too much on ranker.com posts. At least I escaped early enough!
But if you look at the numbers of Twitter Users, it's not really all that many compared to other methods. It's big, but it's short and honestly, so damn annoying to actually follow and read. Blech.
I suspect Musk is going to get burned badly on this deal, but hey that's why most successful people don't succeed at everything, because they're really not that good in the first place. They're in the right place at the right time with the right product. It's random. Success is fleeting unless you're willing to know when you don't know anything.
Musk is smart. And driven. And don't care much about other people really. It's obvious when you look at his professional and personal life. He's driven (in both good and bad ways) and has done some amazing things. He really is a success in alot of ways.

I thought the copyright belonged to the person or entity who made the recording. In this case, was King in a public space when he made this speech? Was the recording done by a news organization? How did the copyright end up in his estate? Sure, the copyright on his speech might be his, but in this case, the film is adding more ontop of that, which is (should?) be transformative and worth a new copyright.
My solution to most football games (and even futball!) is to just record the damn thing on my Tivo, go away for an hour or so and then watch the game.
Snap the ball, watch the play til it ends, hit the button to skip 30 seconds and bam! they're snapping the ball again. Cuts out all the crap. And if I miss something, back it up 6 seconds and I'm all set.
Commercials come on, skip skip skip, and I'm back in the game. Simply awesome!
Want to watch a play over and over again? In slow-mo? Pause the game to go get some food? Need a bathroom break? Need to put a kid to bed? Pause it! It will be there when you come back!

The laywer who did this doesn't get less money for doing this, and might even get more, because now they got to bill for all those extra hours of confidential negotiation. Esp if they're an outside law firm.
