It is true we need to move forward with an overall plan for a 'proper' networked infrastructure here in the US. What's also true is that the entities who either plan and or distribute said network should be at the table proposing strategies. Ideally, aforementioned 'entities' would ditribute said network to everyone equally based solely on demand. Who pays for this and who is 'in charge' are in truth, one & the same.
Any imbalance will only be from a monetary standpoint, and not necessarily a user's.
What we need to be mindful of is that the govt. and it's 'entities', as it were, will be the ones using the best connections running hardware we can only dream of. THAT is what I am afraid of.
Very large corporations spend money to 'disuade', if you will, smaller competitors by any dumbass legal means. get it?
Neither the health providers themselves, NOR the Rx's, have any proper laws which protect, well, everyone. In the US, profits by the leading health providers rose over 400% from '01-'07 (love those new are you depressed commercials that have popped up).
And yet we all stand in line and pretend that healthcare, or more bluntly, a human being, is just a matter of money. Where is the exit out of this room of complete stupid fucking assholes? Needless to say I have considered the pharmu's to be nothing more than a maggot on every society for long enough for this very reason.
The only law which should prevent such shipments is the one in which it states these drugs are not what they say, but ones that could actually harm, or worse. Funny I didn't catch that.
Who's to blame? A POS gov which only concern is how new the jet is that they demand not be late.
Underwear my ass. we're talking mouse clicks on a pc. If you have something on a computer at your work about yourself which you do not want anyone other than the affected employees IE the bookeeper to see, and lo & behold, they can, who's fault is that? Seems to me it would land squarely on the net admin's shoulders and not on the guy who knows how to type and came forward with the knowledge. Physically breaking in is a crime. This was not.
Of course, if as stated, he was a bit smarter he would not have 'proved' (dumbass) that it was possible to begin with. Pointing it out would have been wiser.
Many other IT mistakes have been much costlier and much much more embarassing. This was trivial.
But officer, I never take the keys out of the car...
assuming this implies the statues were all named "little mermaid", or worse yet modeled after the original, I suppose actually having ones own creative ability to name it something else/or choose your own theme would have avoided any conflict of interest. I agree with this lawsuit after reading this-lol
The statue in Copenhagen is itself a copy; the original has been attacked repeatedly -- pieces stolen, arm cut off, painted pink, draped in a burqa -- and is now stored in a secret location
Yahoo has always sucked at anything and everything simply because they are all about the ads & nothing else. I actually feel sorry for people dumb enough to use their so called free 'services'.
Old news. there was one other article about a hair salon I think, I can't remember where, playing some ipod music or other, and the 'music police' came in and fined them for publicly broadcasting an artist without having a license. Absurd if only because playing a portable radio in public is totally legal most anywhere.
I agree with pez. It is a matter of semantics and the memory museum apparently has a spelling problem as well. Just because you can buy knockoff items from china and elsewhere, such as rolex's, jeans, shoes, etc. doesn't mean the knockoff item is the real thing worthy of advertising. If PEZ didn't actually make it then it is nothing but an oversized imitation. PERIOD.
The one at the museum should be stated as being nothing but a display item, and should definitely not be considered a true PEZ product, or even worse the largest ever recognized by the idiots at the wgaf foundation.
I'm sure I could rustle up a pez myself, ship it to china & have them make one that's 50ft tall with Michael Jackson's head on it. It will of course dispense small children. Will I then have the world's largest Pez? no
Actually in many parts of Los Angeles during rush hour, usually afternoon, There are so many cars that having 3 cars make a left at a red light is an everyday occurrence. There are so many cars that many intersections can be partially blocked after the light changes red as well. Red light cameras are nothing but a scam to gather more income from anybody who drives down the road. I don't gas why they have a camera or where it is placed, they are all designed to do nothing but generate $$.
I look at digital speed signs and traffic cameras as nothing more than a waiting target for a high speed bullet or shotgun blast.
Furthermore, I guarantee if the population were allowed to vote on the matter, they would all be removed. Speaking of which, who are the fucking thieving assholes who should be shot who thought that crap up. Fuck those cameras, all of them, fuck the cops who pretend they are your master, and fuck the beurocrats who think they are going to charge me extra for driving down a publicly owned and maintained highway, much less charging me to park there and do any business.
The point is... Forget all the BS. They were LOOKING to arrest him to begin with. Ain't nothin gonna change that.
Like you need a law degree and you're all set, "SAFE"-not
wgaf about the dvd's
ip addy my ass. Only idiots, to begin with don't use a proxy, and then leave their search history behind which points to crime. Forget what pc u used or how big it is.
If letter pertains to private addresses (aren't they all???) of "students & staff" of the college, then I would presume they want to keep the 'private' part defined; ie, if the college gives you you an email address from their server(s),I would assume sjrc to be part of that addy. All other addy's given out by yahoo, msn, gmail, etc should not try to associate the college in it's name just because you attend or work there. Of course if you do not have an assocaition to the college then having sjrc in your address should not matter.
Privacy is not just an individual's right but an entity's as well. Individual's & entity's both need to pay more attention to their web presence and therefore need to keep said presence in check.
all u comedians can blow me
Just another example of the idiots in the US attempting to expand their control over the people who make their paychecks happen. The government has too much power already and they need to be put in their place.
For fuck sake, not to long ago was the story of DHS (dept homeland insecurity) who got their computers hacked to the tune of $12K US TAXPAYER DOLLARS of free phone calls to countries like jordan and afghanistan. Why because the fucking retfucktards who administered it never changed the default passwords.
The day the Gov takes over my pc's connection is the day I call my ISP and cancel my acct. PERIOD. Fuck Them & their laws!
It is rediculous to think that the people who sit at the table are not well aware of the overall use of broadband by people all across America, and beyond.
