If your reader needs to google an acronym in a piece written as news/persuasion it is ineffectual writing. You don't want to lose your audience because you failed to define terms. They may not ever come back to the piece.
I think that if it something like a traffic ticket OK.
Fine them and let the civil courts sort out a slander lawsuit supported by the state's fining the culprit.
Lori Drew is getting all the punidhment the state can do. The trials and publicity are her punishment.
It could be that they don't want models that are normal showing the clothes as opposed to normal people buying those clothes.
I look for something that looks decent on somebody like Drew Carey.
The Boy Scouts are selling Popcorn as they have done for years. I never realized they regularly sold popcorn until last year.
I guess that the indexing was done by the publisher so it was their work and they could copyright that. Seems trivial to redo on a digital copy of the text.
>Apparently we've found the person who was wondering why the World Wildlife Fund was involved in
>wrestling before the WWE name was forced...
Nah, I was going for the best joke.
The list of Organizations that BSA stands for numbers about 20 according to answers.com. The British Science Association or the Broadcast Standards Association or the Bosnian Serb Army.... Just are not as absurd as the boy scouts but they do have their litigious side that makes things this side of plausible.
Besides I thought the wrong WWF got to keep the name. Panda wrestling is coming soon.
Please define your initials at least once. BSA could stand for lots of things beyond the Business Software Alliance.
Part of the method for a blind person to cross a street is to listen for traffic.
As we all know there are lots of idiots driving out there so it isn't unreasonable for a little noise to be added to a car. Some people in the country add Deer whistles to scare of deer.
Yep at least twice. I've demanded my Star Wars episode 1 podracer sound both times.
This just makes it easier to boycott the output of FOX News- not actual news but an adulterated reporting product.
So does this mean google is kicking back some ad revenue or that google is too damn big to ignore?
If the royal post does not offer an user friendly way to find this data then don't include postal codes. I'd be willing to wager they waste more money looking up the codes than they ever get from the licenses.
Quick lets all go buy a copy to increase the chance of bankrupting the bastards.
It;s what you call the Super Bowl when you don't want to pay the NFL for the right to say superbowl.
>Similar to all the promotional offers for Windows 7, in a >way. They're currently offering it to students for peanuts >to pull them away from macs and back into Vista-world.
Hmm a cheap copy of 7 to run under bootcamp or virtually on my Mac. No problem there. Opens the PC world to Mac users without really having to change anything. I've got an .edu email address or two that qualifiy.
>Where or what is Princeton? Is it a place where
>you have to study hard just to barely pass?
Princeton NJ. An Ivy league school without hype of a Yale or Harvard.
I think the real use of a kindle is to lessen the big honking pile of books that one would need to cart around. My college backpack topped out at 50# when I was taking the Freshmen courses in Physics, Chemistry, Calculus and a literature course.
I don't think Amazon would ever take away anything that was paid for again after the 1984 fiasco. The bigger danger there are the books that people would take on as a rental for the term. Pay less and lose access after a set period.
Yep once that genii is out of the bottle you can't stuff it back in.
The bank needs to assume that the file has escaped and is in the wrong hands regardless of what they think they know. If the file has escaped they are doing what they need to do and if the file hasn't escaped they have taken prudent action where they can't be 100% certain.
>Huh? So Brits have a stupid sign up and it is America's >fault? It must be tough to carry such a chip on your >shoulder.
No, the Brits have the sign so that they don't have to treat American's run over by Brits in the National health system. Keeping expenses down with preventative signage. Besides slightly flattened visitors are bad for tourism.
Re: Re: Re: its in the machine!
>OpenOffice sucks compared to MS Office.
It sucks to pay Microsoft for anything.
