  They’re a trillion-dollar, multinational company. Did anyone really think they engaged in social justice issues for reasons other than because it looks good for them to do so?

  No, I thought they engaged in social justice issues (like strong digital privacy) because that's what customers want, and giving customers what they want is a good way to make more customers, which makes you more money. It always comes back to money of course, but apparently they now believe the best path to that money is not through their customers.

  This has the slightest sliver of plausibility in theory, but would be an unmitigated disaster in practice. There is no way "political speech" could be legally defined (nobody agrees what that is now!) and it would instantly be abused by the very people you're saying free speech absolutism enabled. Your "fix" would be far worse that the actual problem.

If a healthy young person didn't catch Covid because they were vaccinated then they also didn't transmit it to somebody or multiple people who could suffer serious effects or die.
