Indeed. But one is a typo, the other is poor literacy.
Seems like it would be easier to restore a disabled account than a deleted one. Patreon appears to be allowing for mistakes to be easily and quickly rectified while still giving the account owner the nuclear option for their own data. I'm not sure what's to dislike here.
Awww, you beat me to it. He has high praise for BestNetTech, calling the site "excellent", and for Tim in particular. Sometimes he'll read a sentence, repeat one phrase for emphasis, chuckle, and say "great writing!"
Careful, your prejudice is showing behind your ignorance.
I typically turn the music off on games I play, or turn it way down. I find it distracts me and makes it harder for me to hear effects that clue me in to game events (especially when the signal danger).
It may be an issue unique to me, though I don't think it is. A lot of people feel the music is important to the atmosphere. I don't disagree, it's just not my priority.
That said, I think I'll avoid DMCA complaints on this game by not playing it.
"...if players want to be absolutely safe from potential DMCA takedowns." Well, yeah. Turning the music off will make you absolutely safe from DMCA takedowns, until you aren't. Because the fucking system is broken and gets abused all the time and if somebody wants to hurt you they can just make bogus claims. coughsupmattocough
Sounds like state socialism to me.
Are people advocating moving to a socialist economy with the state owning the means of production? Because every time anybody suggests the state do anything to actually help the populace, they start screaming "OMG Socialism!" But any time a private entity does something they don't like, they want the government to take it over.
Asking for a friend.
Well, maybe you can if its a suitcase full of money.
These guards are literally defending the Constitution of the United States. :D
(Sorry it's a link to the Internet Archive, but the images aren't working on Keenspace for this comic. Or Keenspot, or whatever they're calling it now.)
You obviously don't know how things work. Your willing ignorance does not give you any kind of moral stance.
There's this elaborate contrived pun my father told me once about immortal porpoises...
The best solution they could come up with was to ban an eight-year-old videogame. I don't care if they believe it or not, they're still incompetent buffoons.
A good problem-solver looks for root causes and isn't afraid to throw away theories in the face of contradicting facts. You check your ego and move on.
The only problem these guys are trying to solve is how to look good without doing the work they're paid for.
Read it again, I think you misunderstood him. FWIW, I had to read it twice.
He's gonna need three friends with horses, among other things.
)
There, closed that parenthesis for you.
$95 doesn't seem like that much. Where are you buying your tech? Because my 8yo desktop certainly cost considerably more than a hundred bucks. Same with my smartphones. My laptop (a low-end gaming unit) was almost a grand. Personally, I'm actually considering this deal. Probably won't, but I'm thinking about it. Also "allot" is a word but I don't think it means what you think it means.
...Beat me to it. Mine was a verrrry slight variation:
I really hate this damn machine,
I wish that they would sell it;
It never does just what I want,
But only what I tell it.
...but you got here first.
Re: Hey, what is your solution to problem you bring up?
Did you mean "kvetching?" Asking for a friend. One who actually speaks Yiddish.
