  Seems like it would be easier to restore a disabled account than a deleted one. Patreon appears to be allowing for mistakes to be easily and quickly rectified while still giving the account owner the nuclear option for their own data. I'm not sure what's to dislike here.

  I typically turn the music off on games I play, or turn it way down. I find it distracts me and makes it harder for me to hear effects that clue me in to game events (especially when the signal danger).

  It may be an issue unique to me, though I don't think it is. A lot of people feel the music is important to the atmosphere. I don't disagree, it's just not my priority.

  That said, I think I'll avoid DMCA complaints on this game by not playing it.

Because the fucking system is broken and gets abused all the time and if somebody wants to hurt you they can just make bogus claims. coughsupmattocough

  Sounds like state socialism to me.

  Are people advocating moving to a socialist economy with the state owning the means of production? Because every time anybody suggests the state do anything to actually help the populace, they start screaming "OMG Socialism!" But any time a private entity does something they don't like, they want the government to take it over.

  The best solution they could come up with was to ban an eight-year-old videogame. I don't care if they believe it or not, they're still incompetent buffoons.

  A good problem-solver looks for root causes and isn't afraid to throw away theories in the face of contradicting facts. You check your ego and move on.

  The only problem these guys are trying to solve is how to look good without doing the work they're paid for.

  $95 doesn't seem like that much. Where are you buying your tech? Because my 8yo desktop certainly cost considerably more than a hundred bucks. Same with my smartphones. My laptop (a low-end gaming unit) was almost a grand. Personally, I'm actually considering this deal. Probably won't, but I'm thinking about it. Also "allot" is a word but I don't think it means what you think it means.
