"...but maybe they’ll be a bit more careful who they pick to handle the job the next time a sheriff is up for election." Well put! Idiot Amerikan voters have given us everything from this Alabama asshole, to Donald Trump. Who was it, who once said, we get the Government we deserve?! So let those tax dollars go to the victim(s) of this caveman the booger-eating unwashed so gleefully shepherded into office.

    Irony

Here's the supreme irony: if Bernie Sanders had remained independent (and had slightly better campaign management), rather than glomming onto the failed Democrats, he would have stood a strong chance of winning against -- seriously? -- Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. So much for brain trusts ...

    Disney is satan

It doesn't help matters, that Disney just so happens to own most of the courts and judges, at least in Southern California and most of Florida. Disney creates more Disney-worshipers by plying these legal beagles with cruise tickets, free admissions to their wondrous theme parks and other perks of the trade, along with frequent reminders of Disney contributions to sales-tax bases (through the hawking of overpriced, cheaply made "merchandise" to the idiot masses). We all know Disney has no moral base whatsoever, reflecting upon the hoards of pirated creative works stolen, bastardized and marketed by the Disney machine. (Who else would make a child-appealing lovable tale of Pocahontas, who in reality was forced to travel to England to serve as a sex slave to ruddy drunken "explorers", before being infected with a fatal case of syphilis?) Add to that the careers of thousands of workers in media, utterly destroyed through takeovers (such as ABC and Marvel), many of which were done strictly in a vindictive spirit, a fine example of a "family friendly" concern.

Taking a mile from an inch?

I always cringe when I see any public writing alleging Disney's sudden newfound generosity and wallowing in the spirit of sharing amongst mankind. Just a few words of encouragement will give Der Maus a feeling that they can (and will) get away with practically anything--from unreasonable copyright claims, to (worse yet) blatant piracy of older established folkloric tales, and appropriation of such to their own corporate branding--to unrelated harassment of otherwise-creative employees, especially those sucked into the evil empire through corporate mergers and acquisitions (read: ABC and Marvel, as examples). Overall, Disney arguably represents the absolute worst ways of Capitalism, in many categories. Heaps of praise over their sudden, wondrous free-love of what was probably stolen material in the first place, is like dangling a juicy t-bone in front of a hungry alligator.

Disney is satan, pure and simple.

No surprises here. If there IS a devil, it's Disney. Just ask anyone who's been screwed out of their career by these bastards.

It's easy to see where Kellogg's obtains its inspirations, given its years-old marketing association with Disney. I can see the Disney storm-troopers encouraging Kellogg's to go for this (the same way Disney completely usurped the story of Pocahontas...and, uh, anyone remember "Song of the South"??), over a few friendly lines of coke. These Disney bastards have no respect for anything not contrived to make a profit, especially if its older than 25 years or so.

    Divorce

Another good reason not to just ban Gay Marriage, but why not ALL Marriage?? Why discriminate??

    Disney

Whaddaya expect from a company where kissing ass takes precedence over any kind of competence or efficiency? Gangs of idiot Amerikans worship Disney as if it were some great horned devil-god, so Disney can do no wrong, even when it can do nothing right...thus the inevitable survival of the brand.

    8-tracks

"...it lived on at radio stations for years after it disappeared from public use..." Huh?? Radio stations used a standard 2-track cart format (warning: 6 tracks are missing!), mostly for :30 and :60-second long produced spots, known to the Great Unwashed as "Commercials". Tell me, who would for a minute think that 8-track carts (as in "cartridges", not "cassettes") could ever be practical for broadcast use?
