If the religious zealots need to post religious items in public schools- it would appear that they are failing in their responsibility to teach their children. They want to offload it to public institutions. In other words- they are abdicating their own responsibility.
"You can bet that no executive, no board member, no major stockholder will be personally responsible for any part of that debt, especially if they were a decision maker in the original mergers.”
In fact, the above, especially the executives, will be/have been rewarded handsomely, and will go on to destroy more companies. And the cyle will continue. as more of the hard workers in the bottom and mid-levels lose their jobs.
One of the scariest aspects of this is the fact that apparently the rank and file officers just fell in line, and seemingly had no problem acting in their capacity as a gang on the government payroll. It's not "just a few bad apples." It's the whole system.
Those legislators who are so aghast at kneeling during the national anthem probably were hootin' and hollerin' while their friends were in the midst of an insurrection in D.C. on Jan 6th.
As usual- we can subsidize profit making corporations, and it's not considered "welfare". IF we are to continue the farce of giving money to these corporations, how about flipping things? They must invest and provide the services and infrastructure FIRST. Then they can apply for some reimbursement.
How fast can we degrade?
Wondering how fast this administration can destroy every bit of progress we have made on the last century?
Apparently the parents have failed

Sympathize with Verizon?
Never did I ever think I would side with Verizon when it comes to hoovering up undeserved subsidies- but this is a weird world in which we live.
They won’t need to
The Chinese won’t need to launch nukes. We are destroying ourselves from within.
They’ll even get raises

We don’t need no stinkin’ laws
Another example of “only the little people need to obey the laws”.
Shortens my printer purchase list
All this does is narrow my choices for which printer I might buy. HP doesn't even get a look.
Scary - the rank and file falls in line
One of the scariest aspects of this is the fact that apparently the rank and file officers just fell in line, and seemingly had no problem acting in their capacity as a gang on the government payroll. It's not "just a few bad apples." It's the whole system.
Re: What are they afraid of?
Good cops don't need qualified immunity. Bad cops depend on it.

At LEAST half, or more!
