This is a Very Useful Piece of Intelligence

It tells us that one of the most effective ways of protesting the NSA's abuse of our Constitutional rights is for as many citizens as possible to send encrypted messages.

We should all be sending encrypted messages, and each one should contain relevant quotes from the U.S. Constitution and our founding fathers.

The technically savvy should be doing everything in their power to enable the less technically savvy to achieve this.

Knowledge is power. We have just been handed a very useful bit of knowledge.

The Patriot Act needs to go.

    Re:

That was CBP. Both the TSA and the CBP now fall under the DHS. That's where most of the unconstitutional BS we've seen in the last decade comes from.

The DHS was instituted via the Unpatriot Act, which was signed into law unread by the traitors who voted for it. Ever since that act of 9/11 inspired hysteria, we've suffered creeping fascism from the federal government, all instigated by the spooks and kooks running wild within the DHS.

No legislator seems to have enough spine left to confront the DHS and ask them hard questions, much less reign them in.

    Re:

I'm with you. As far as I'm concerned, standing up for the U.S. Constitution should be an obvious win for any politician.

Duh! Obama is a P.O.S., because he claims to be a "Constitutional Scholar", and supposedly taught "Constitutional Law", yet his administration has done everything in its power to nullify the Constitution.

The majority of Americans seem to have no problem with watching both Republican and Democratic politicians tap dance together on the Constitution.

What a sorry state of affairs.

    What Happened to Justice?

With such an obviously flawed "judgment" from the SCOTUS, anyone hoping for fairness and decency from our legal system must quail with terror.

How could 8 supreme court justices be so blatantly contemptuous of the U.S. Constitution?

As a nation, we are seriously off course.

DHS Resists Accountability Across the Board

They refuse to be accountable to their employers, the American Citizens:

    http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/judicial-watch-sues-department-of-homeland-security-for-documents-on-illegal-alien-who-killed-virginia-nun-in-drunk-driving-accident-on-august-1-2010-111201524.html

Illegal Alian Montano killed American citizens in a drunk driving incident committed while awaiting deportation (pretty much indefinitely). :

"The [Montano] inquiry is complete, but Homeland Security does not plan to make the results public, according to the senior official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak about the matter.
'It's a document that includes law enforcement sensitivities, so it will not be made public,' the official said. He declined to discuss the nature of those sensitivities.
Judicial Watch requested the DHS report on October 12, 2010. DHS acknowledged receipt of the request on October 21, 2010, and granted itself a 10-day extension to respond. By law, a response was due to Judicial Watch by November 26, 2010. However, to date, DHS has failed to provide any records responsive to the request or to demonstrate why the records should be withheld, prompting Judicial Watch's lawsuit."

Lawsuits against these clowns just keep stacking up, but our legislators sit on their hands and do nothing to protect us. Our judicial system works in a glacially slow manner and our press reports nothing.

We must be more forceful with our elected officials with regard to DHS malfeasance.

"Homeland" is Such a Creepy Word

You'd think they'd have disguised their fascist goal a bit better.

Here's a dutiful citizen's report. I stand as a corroborating witness. What about the rest of you?
