Look at Afghanistan on a map. Pipelines were planned to run through Afghanistan well before 9/11. All the XXX-stans north of Afghanistan are already being or have been developed. Afghanistan is in the direct path of pipelines to get the product to where the demand is; India and Pakistan. Do you really think we invaded Afghanistan to get terrorists?
Broadband service doesn't cross State boundaries? Broadband doesn't give subscribers direct access to the global economy? Of course any State is a will to create it's own IntraState network to only connect to end points within the State and regulate it to that extent. They can call it TennNet.
This should surprise nobody. These are the same States that fought over slavery at the individual level, they'll fight just as hard for State level enslavement.

North Carolina as well, which of course should surprise nobody.

States, counties, cities have no right whatsoever to regulate interstate commerce which all broadband is.

And these same cops will then wonder why people don't trust them and why they are targets..
The facts remain that most cops are nothing more than idiots with badges and guns.
Let's face it people, the fascists won WW2. It just wasn't the German or Italian fascists.
Michael Hayden is nothing more than an American Heinrich Himmler.
If Boehner is talking, he is lying.
