Maybe if PEOPLE weren't so gullible as to believe everything they see on the internet, did a modicum of research before sharing memes, maybe that sort of shit wouldn't happen. But that would mean people would have to actually be responsible for their content. Instead all they do is pass around memetic herpes and wonder why they and their friends itch. I swear I spend too much damn time trying to fact check and vaccinate people against this but others are right, you can't fix stupid.
The problem can be likened to Oreos with a few changes. Like the internet, the ISPs do not provide nor create Oreos. Like the internet, there is a virtually unlimited supply of Oreos out there in a myriad of flavors. The ISPs are the bottleneck, the choke point, to Oreo consumption. France says you can have 100 Oreos a day. You might not eat that many, but that's how many they can send to you. Japan says you can have 200 Oreos a day. Korea 250. United States 10 Oreos per day and if you have more than 10 Oreos delivered, you have to pay for more. You want something other than plain Oreos? Fuggitaboutit. Oh, you want someone else to deliver your Oreos? Well, the ISPs have WRITTEN THE FARGING LAWS that say no one else but them can deliver Oreos to you. Nevermind the fact that they don't create the Oreos and are using rusted, half-broken down trucks instead of the super-mag trains of Europe to deliver said Oreos. Oh, and if there's no road to your house, no Oreos for you. No, ISPs are not going to pave a road there so you can get Oreos. What, do you think ISPs are made of money even though they continually post record profits? And if you want milk all the ISPs do is hope you choke on your dry, stale Oreos because that's all they're contractually obligated to supply you with. Don't like it? Well the laws THEY WROTE say you do, so there XP

I had no idea who was involved, neither did I care. But thanks to Web Sheriff I now know the names of all 3. Thank you, Streisand!
To quote my wife: "What a turkey!"
Who would have thought that the movie Moving Violations would turn out to be a true story.
Now you're all looking it up on IMDB.
Now you're all looking at Youtube.
Now you're all cursing me out for making you see that mess of a film (some of you it's remembering it).
Streisand Rating: 4/10
Made me actually Google "Jared Leto" to see who he was. Stopped reading after seeing "My So-Called Life".
Perhaps his lawyer is more shrewd than you give him credit for.
Janice, meet Barbara. Barbara, meet Janice. Now, I want this to be a nice clean fight: no disintegrations! To your corners.
That's a WOPR of a system. Runs HVAC, plays a good game of chess, and has data rates (even with the 1200 baud modem) that would make any Comcast customer jealous. Please say it can decrypt nuclear launch codes, too!
"Everything was fine until the program was exposed by Wittes-less, here"
"They caused terrorist attacks!"
"Is this true?"
"Yes, it's true. This man has no Wittes."
Other headlines as dictated by the CHP

"NASA lander on rocky surface."
"NSA only collecting a little data. Millions of terrorists identified!"
News flash! Coffee DRM doesn't amount to a hill of beans!
This is like saying Click and Clack can't have a radio show because they're mechanics, not radio DJs or reporters. Nevermind that they are experts in their field answering questions related to their field, they can do that, just not on the radio.
I think you should try. Nothing you listed showed it had to be *pro*-TTIP.
I believe the following link has some relevance. It also explains the futility of DRM, copytrolling, and paywalls.

Wait. They're talking about unplayable video games? I thought this article was describing the effects of Windows 8!
You all missed it. Scientology is changing what its members are called as they arborize them: Saps.
This just in: some people lie on the internet. In other news, water is wet.
