Doubling down on killing Venezuelans while pardoning others for the same thing is such Trump thing.
From CNN -
"President Donald Trump has formally pardoned former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández, according to his attorney Renato Stabile and a White House official.
Trump had announced his intention of granting a “full and complete pardon” to Hernández last week in a move that erases a major US drug-trafficking conviction for a onetime US ally.
President of Honduras from 2014 until 2022, Hernández was convicted and sentenced last year to 45 years in prison and given an $8 million fine by a US judge for drug trafficking offenses."
"I'm allowed as you know as president, like 50% of the presidents have used the Insurrection Act."

Per that article, the Insurrection Act has been invoked 31 times, 30 separate incidents, in our nations history by, 15 times by presidents and once illegally by MacArthur. 4 times to prevent the state from using the national guard from acting, they were ordered to stand down.
Not once has it been used to stop peaceful protest.
Jackass Dickhead was just the first definition I thought of. Might be able to come up with some others if I felt like giving it any effort. Jefferson Davis is apropo for the subject.
"I obviously disagree with some of Elez's posts".
JD - I don't think it is obvious. Can you explain just which of those posts you disagree with? So we know, for the record, which ones you do agree with? As if it isn't all of them.
(JD = Jackass Dickhead)
Is that $40B a "valuation" and the amount paid somewhat less? Would selling it on the open market get more? Or is that even allowed?
Is Dish/Echostar going to get the $40B ($17B-Musk, $23B-AT&T)? Because that doesn't sound so bad of way to get ripped off. Dish is only not so bad when compared to the size of the others in this triangle. They are no better.
But as always, those billions float around to be swept up by those who already have more than they need and the public they serve (HAH!) get screwed again.

There, fixed it.
Isn't that the purpose of anti-slapp laws? Which there isn't a federal version of. And the federal government would likely exempt them selves from such legislation if it existed.
Picturing this asshat in a military uniform, even a school academy version, is disgusting. When it came time to go to the real military, he had 'bone spurs'. And he constantly disrespects actions by our actual armed forces members.
I'm sure at least a few of you will claim that dodging the draft was very common at one point and maybe that the 'war' at the time merited dodging the draft. That's not what this is about.
I'm talking about someone who couldn't be bothered to serve and would rather suck at his daddy's teat and learn to screw over anybody he could. But still has the lack of conscience to call himself the Commander in Chief.
Who started these incidents? I mean beside Trump, Miller, and ICE?
I don't know, and I won't claim, it was people directed by Trumps people to get this rolling. But I feel that it is 50/50 that there was somebody onsite to make sure tensions escalated. Isn't that what they always claim? J6 was Antifa! without any evidence. It was very likely regular people, not exactly on either 'side', but pushed too far. But I won't discount the possibility that there was somebody there to make sure the temperature got a lot hotter.
It seems that these ICE raids are designed to inflame the public to justify bringing out increased force to shut it down. And LA is the perfect place to do it. A lot of immigrants, a lot of them undocumented, but generally just going about their life. Working, taking care of their family. But they're too brown so they have to go.
Ignoring a judges orders? From 3 different courts? Sounds impeachable to me, but we all know that that the republicans won't stop liking his boots to do that.
I sent this article to a lot of family, friends, acquaintances, and government representatives. Because I feel that this somewhat captures my thoughts in general about our society and current government in particular.
I usually don't talk about this kind of thing much at all. But this struck a chord with me and decided to let everyone that is important to me know how I feel.
I'm sure I'll get some crap about it from a few of them, the ones I don't talk to much.
If you're a golf fan you're aware that the just finished tournament was the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, sponsored by AT&T.
During the Sunday broadcast, maybe Saturday as well, the CEO, or some other C Suite dick, gets to be on air with the host and talk about how wonderful they are. Yesterday it was "AT&T is all about CONNECTIVITY for everyone!" Even had a short bit from the County Library.
I couldn't turn the sound off quick enough.
PS - Jim Nantz is the biggest ass kisser in history.
So one of Musk's companies did something that benefited another of his companies. Didn't he recently argue in court that all of his companies are completely separate?
Of course, but that wasn't the point of my comment, or the article. But if you're going in that direction, the same can be said of VOIP providers, like your cable company. Their backup power is likely non-existent.
Hypocrite!

Kavanaugh should resign
Since Kavanaugh thinks the job is so tough, he should resign and go sit in his backyard and drink his beer. Isn't that what he is best at?
Market rate?

Just about every dystopian movie I've seen is coming true.

I can't wait to hear all the republicans complain about this 'activist' judge and how he should be removed. /s And the hypocrisy rolls on.
Re:
Of course, but I would bet/hope the group suing him in that case in the US will bring this up.
Hmmm

Issa is an ASS!
There is no limit to the level of hate I have for that schmuck and that he represents the district that I'm in.
