Stephen, I have to say I’m impressed. Never would I have imagined using markdown techniques to add reference notes in a comment/reply. Have an Insightful Vote, my friend.
Yeah, but that depends on which country we’re talking about. Some countries are more strict on their copyright coverage, while others aren’t. So just because one country allows you to post a landscape photo doesn’t mean all countries will.
When you think of earthquakes, most would consider places that are most vulnerable would be located near certain faults. Los Angeles for example is near the San Andreas fault line. Even countries like Japan are vulnerable, as evidenced by the devastating earthquake in 2011. However, recently states like Ohio received a 3.4 earthquake, yet the area wasn’t near a fault line or anything that could cause a natural earthquake. What would your opinion about earthquakes be? How could states like Ohio and certain parts of Pennsylvania receive earthquakes even if they aren’t near a known fault line? Should the U.S. and other countries update their building requirements to prevent damage from further unexpected tremors?
...and there is no allegation that the photographer “attempted to convey ideas, emotions, or in any way influence [the subject’s] pose, expression, or clothing.”
Wow, what a harsh way to treat content.
...In such circumstances, the photograph is considered a factual work, not a creative one, thus favoring a determination of fair use.
So in other words, DeviantArt is a no-go and anything that has creativity and brings community togethers goes down with it? These guys don’t understand how copyright is supposed to work, and I’d be surprised if they somehow make it better.

Thousands of people complained about how slow 2018 was. Then all of a sudden, 2019 arrives, and before we know it we’re near the end of the month of June. To me, I think this is the karma for those who complained about last year. But I’m curious. What do you think about this? Is there a different reason why 2019’s going by faster than 2018 ever did?

A Horizontal Line Conundrum
I was honestly having trouble with the horizontal line with markdown. It doesn’t seem to be working for me no matter how many times I tried.
