  • Why Kicking Fans Off The Internet Won't Make Them Buy

    astontechno ( profile ), 04 Nov, 2009 @ 12:36pm

    "been there...done that..."

no matter how tries to stop who

anyone can get any media by so many means these days

that it is totally impractical to think that any one

means will deter anyone from pursuing their media

pleasure. in most cases people will simply move on

having captured all their music and movies anyway.

and since when have we had any compassion for the

artist or the label? if it's out there it's fair game...

those are today's rules. you don't want to play in a

hacker's backyard? take your media ball and go home..

    otherwise....eat it man.....

  • Journalist Demands Google Give Up Its 'Fair Share' To Newspapers

    astontechno ( profile ), 16 Jul, 2009 @ 12:51pm

save the trees don't buy a paper everyday google everyday

papers have their nostalgic quality just like a box of

    good n plenty.

let's put this in perspective for a moment.

i met the daughter of my next door neighbor the other

day for the first time. while rattling off at supersonic

speed her bio and how she missed her home town, she was

texting someone that she just met a guy and was meeting him

for the first time and she still had time to google map

the location of her next meeting. newspapers ? you gotta

be kidding........who has time to read the rags anymore?

  • Another Attempt At Rescuing Newspapers And Magazines

    astontechno ( profile ), 05 May, 2009 @ 09:16am

    media nostalgia day

    try this experiment
someone propose that everyone live in the world
where there are no cell phones or laptops

and newspapers and magazines are the only way to get
    your info

if you run a bed and breakfast you can have

lots of magazines and newspapers on the table

it'll come to this where print is nostalgic

meanwhile the network people in power will die out and the
young will foster the internet as the new media of choice
