I’m glad Europe is picking up the torch as things turn into a nightmare over here.

I’m not too confident on the EU. They got their own far right problem and a real hard-on for surveillance.
But I will agree that it’s definitely better than the US right now.

Cozying up with hate groups probably isn’t great for business, especially for the people being targeted who might otherwise be customers.

And yet Meta and X and more cozy up to hate groups and hateful people, giving them special treatment. If the companies wanted to remove hate speech, why are they letting it flourish? What Mike says here about them wanting to get rid of hate speech doesn’t make sense in the face of the current realities.

Bluesky is just another site which censors porn or porn that offends them. They dress that up with PR speak.
